Team Leader of the Year

ACCSCT is proud to announce the 2007 Team Leader of the Year: Kristi Mollis, President and CEO of Everglades University in Boca Raton, Florida. Kristi will be recognized during the First Annual Professional Development Conference Awards Ceremony on Thursday, October 4th.

The Team Leader of the Year Award recognizes a volunteer from the ACCSCT Membership that has made a significant contribution to career education, and the ACCSCT community through their dedication to the accrediting process and their active involvement in on-site evaluations. During the on-site evaluation, the Team Leader assesses the managerial and administrative strengths and weaknesses of the school in the areas of student services, student progress, admissions, and recruitment. Team Leaders have a wealth of experience with accreditation, a profound knowledge of the Standards of Accreditation, and a concise understanding of Commission processes.

Kristi Mollis participated in ACCSCT’s Team Member Training in 2002 and has served as an ACCSCT Team Leader since that time, conducting 24 on-site evaluations on behalf of the Commission. Kristi is currently the President and CEO of Everglades University in Boca Raton, Florida, and has been in this position since 2002.   During her tenure as President, Kristi has taken Everglades to University status, added two branch campuses, 5 new degree programs including 3 master’s degrees and has helped grow the University’s reputation and presence in the state of Florida. Kristi has been employed in the postsecondary education field since 1991 and has held various executive positions, including school administration, marketing, and admissions.   Kristi received her B.A. degree from Baldwin-Wallace College in Berea, Ohio in 1990 and her M.B.A. in 1993 from Nova-Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Kristi is honored to have been mentored by Dr. Arthur Keiser, former Chairman of the ACCSCT Commission and Dr. Gery Hochanadel Current Chairman of the Commission.
